One of the sweet joys of starting a non-profit is gathering ideas from and partnering with others who share a similar vision. A common focus we’ve noted is the variety of organizations whose goal is to offer a path to those without hope—bringing them to hope. Once someone can grasp the depth of love and accept the hope offered, it is life changing.

Our desire at OEB is to be the essential bridge in our women’s journey, and be their next step into individual sustainability.

There are countless women in the Portland, Oregon USA area that need hope. One way we together with you can bring them hope is through the Union Gospel Mission. UGM has for years been offering those on our Portland streets comfort, compassion, and an open door.

On September 26th, 2015, the team of Omega Espresso Bar will be working alongside others at UGM’s Operation Overcoat. We will be serving coffee to the homeless.

Union Gospel Mission provided over 6,000 articles of clothing and 1,300 meals to those in need at last year’s event.

Interested? Please join us as we seek to bring comfort and hope to those in need. Contact Bernadette Gonzales of Union Gospel Mission by email at bernadetteg@ugmportland.org or by phone at +1 (503) 274-4483.

See you there!
